Kokopelli is probably the best known Kachina today. The humped back is his most characteristic feature and he is known as the Hump-back Flute Kachina when he borrows a flute from Leenang Kachina, the Flute Kachina. Generally he appears in the Mixed Kachina Dance and dances around a Hohokam pot and chases sheep. |

This pendant represents the mask of the Kokopelli Kachina. It is created in earthenware clay, hand painted and glazed and kiln fired to produce a strong and beautiful necklace. He is a bright and colorful bit of the Southwest and would be a handsome addition to your wardrobe. Or he could be an unusual gift for a friend. It measures approximately 1-1/2 inches by 2-1/4 inches overall. A black rolled leather necklace which is adjustable to your desired length is included. It comes packaged with a card describing the Kokopelli Kachina and a note about Kachinas, all in a plastic bag.
